Cricket's three formats and the tournaments you can bet on

930k Cricket Match Betting Markets

The biggest draw of cricket betting is its variety. The three formats – T20, ODI and Test – move at completely different speeds, so the betting approach for each one is different.

T20: The fastest format. With matches finishing in just 20 overs, odds shift quickly. BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) and IPL (Indian Premier League) are the two most popular T20 competitions. Bangladesh Tigers matches in the T20 World Cup draw attention from fans across the country.

ODI: In this 50-over format the course of a match becomes clearer gradually. The first innings score directly influences betting in the second innings.

Test: This five-day format rewards patience and analysis. A fall of wickets or a change in pitch conditions can cause big swings in the odds.

930k has betting markets across international series, ICC tournaments, BPL and IPL.

How betting on football and other sports is different

930k Sports Betting – Football and Other Sports

At 930k you can bet on football and other sports alongside cricket, but the markets and betting structure differ for each sport.

In football a match can end in three ways – team A wins, team B wins, or a draw. In limited-overs cricket there is no draw; one team must win (except in the case of a tie or super over). In Test cricket a draw is possible, so there are three possible results.

Cricket has more individual performance markets – top batsman, top bowler, runs in a specific over, and so on. Football has goalscorer and assist markets. Other sports such as kabaddi or badminton have comparatively fewer markets.

930k is set up for sports betting just as it is for casino games. If you want full details on the 930k Bet sportsbook, that page has complete information on all markets and features.

7 popular markets that bettors choose most often

Match Winner

Simplest market

Pick which of the two teams will win – team A or team B. For T20 and ODI this is the best place to start.

Toss Betting

Short-term market

Pick which team will win the toss. The result is known before the match starts, making it a quick, standalone market.

Top Batsman

Individual performance

Pick the batsman who will score the most runs for a given team in this market.

Total Runs Over / Under

Scoreline market

Bet on whether the total runs in the match will be above (over) or below (under) a set number.

Runs in the First Over

Powerplay market

How many runs will a team score in the powerplay or the first few overs – this market is particularly active in T20.

Top Bowler

Bowling performance

Pick the bowler who will take the most wickets in the match. On spin-friendly pitches this becomes an interesting market.

Multi Bet (multiple selections)

Across multiple matches

You can combine several matches or markets into a single bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together, so the potential return is higher – but if any one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost. A worked example of multi-bet calculations is shown in the odds section below.

How to read odds in three formats

The same odds can be written in decimal, fractional or American format. The table below makes the differences clear.

Format Odds for team A to win Odds for team B to win (favourite) Brief meaning
Decimal 2.25 1.25 Total return including stake; higher number means bigger underdog
Fractional 5/4 1/4 First number is profit, second number is stake
American +125 -400 + means profit on a ৳100 stake; - means stake needed to win ৳100

Example 1 – Bet on team A to win

Stake ৳1,000, odds for team A to win: decimal 2.25 = fractional 5/4 = American +125.

If team A wins, total return is ৳2,250 (৳1,250 profit + ৳1,000 stake); if team A loses, ৳1,000 is gone.

Example 2 – Bet on favourite team B

Team B is the favourite, odds: decimal 1.25 = fractional 1/4 = American -400 (meaning a ৳400 stake is needed to win ৳100 profit).

On a ৳1,000 stake, if team B wins the return is ৳1,250 (৳250 profit); if team B loses, ৳1,000 is gone.

Live In-Play Betting – markets while the match is on

Live

Live in-play betting lets you experience cricket in a completely new way. Odds that were set before the match can shift in an instant when a wicket falls or a big over is bowled.

For example – if team A is batting and loses 3 wickets midway through the innings, the odds for team B to win shorten and the odds for team A to win lengthen. Placing the right bet at the moment of that change makes betting more engaging.

Over-by-over betting and markets on the next ball or next wicket are also available during live sessions. In T20 the live markets are most active during the final five overs.

For easy access at 930k, you can use the 930k App, available for both Android and iOS.

Five things to keep in mind before you start betting

Betting is a form of entertainment – there is no guaranteed path to profit. Keeping the points below in mind will make the experience more disciplined.

01

Understand the format before choosing a market

T20, ODI and Test each move at a different pace and have a different structure. Bet on markets in the format you know best – learn the basics before moving into unfamiliar markets.

02

Set a budget before you start and do not increase it

Decide on a fixed amount before each betting session and stay within that limit. Avoid the urge to chase losses by placing larger bets.

03

Compare odds

The same market can carry different odds. Decimal odds are easy to compare – the higher the odds, the greater the return for the same stake.

04

Keep the number of selections low in a multi bet

The more selections in a multi bet, the lower the chance that all of them are correct. See the odds example – three selections give combined odds of 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79; if just one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost.

05

Take breaks and respect your limits

Avoid betting continuously. Making decisions when tired or frustrated is not a good idea. Learn more about responsible gaming – 930k supports keeping entertainment within limits.

Cricket Betting FAQ

T20 generally has the most markets, because matches end quickly and new markets open up with every over. ODI also offers a good range of markets, but Test has comparatively fewer – especially during in-play sessions. BPL and IPL T20 matches typically have the most active markets.

A single bet has one selection; the result is decided independently. A multi bet combines several selections and multiplies all their odds together. For example, decimal odds of 1.40, 1.80 and 1.90 combined give 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79 (approximately); a ৳100 stake returns ৳479 – but only if every selection is correct. If one selection is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.

Yes, in live in-play betting odds update continuously based on match conditions. A wicket, a big over, or a rain delay can all cause significant shifts in the odds. That is what makes live betting a different experience – decisions have to match the pace of the match.

In an over/under market a specific number is set – such as total runs or wickets. An "over" bet means you expect the result to exceed that number; an "under" bet means you expect it to fall short. For example, if the total runs line in a T20 match is 150 and you think both teams will score more than 150 combined, place a bet on "over".

Both are T20 format, so the market structure is the same. However, because IPL is the most popular T20 league in the world, it generally has more markets and higher participation. BPL draws stronger local interest because Bangladeshi teams are playing. Live markets are available at 930k for both leagues.
